Err... yeah, that network :-)  Better make that "excellent networking skills".  I'm mostly hoping you'll be able to do some of the same things you did last year, in terms of e-mailing all of the area tech group mailing lists.
 
Aside from hitting the e-mail lists of all area technical groups (see the planning page for a good list), I'm interested in how we might better spread the word to area companies.  I'm planning on having several mini-barcamps at GFS in the months leading up to GR BarCamp, so that should help stir up interest here.
 
I'm also pondering how we might get more involvement from the design and university communities.  Dave, you're obviously connected with Cornerstone and we have connections to GVSU through GR JUG.  Calvin has Abstraction; do the other universities have similar forums that we could use to publicize BarCamp?
