[Barcamp-organizers] Pre-BarCamp Update

Here's what I've got:

First off: we've had a tremendous response this year in terms of registrations.  That's particularly cool because we scaled back our marketing a bit (fewer face-to-face meetings with area user groups, fewer posters, etc.).  Kudos to everyone who helped spread the word, invited a few friends, and in short, abided by the first rule of BarCamp (you DO talk about BarCamp).

We even ended up shuffling some of our rooms around in order to accommodate the larger-than-expected crowd.  To that end, we've also decided to cap registrations at 75 people, because that's the max amount that our current facilities can handle.  We hit that cap this morning.  Any further registrations will be added to a waiting list, in case of cancellations.

HERE'S THE IMPORTANT PART: if you're registered and can't come, let dave at brondsema.net know so that others can come.

As we get closer, we'd also like to help out with transportation for those that may be doing some driving.  To that end, we've started a carpooling page on the BarCamp wiki:
