I would send this out to the barcampers list (barcamp at gr-jug.org).  There should be enough of us with spare power strips to be able to cover things without buying extras.

I remember we had a very hard time with people and their laptops because of
the lack of power strips.  Is someone able to bring some additional
powerstrips or maybe even purchase a few with our surplus funds?
